My Photo Essay ; My great experience about GLPS 20!

    Hi everyone! My name is Cindy, Gunhee Bae. I am posting this to write a photo essay about the GLPS 21, the summer camp before this camp. I had a lot of fun as this time, and from now on, I will introduce about it with several pictures that I brought here.


   THE FIRST PICTURE : 1

   In that summer camp, I was in class 4, level 2;; . Same as this time, we did the Pop song  Contest. My class's Advisor teacher was Mr. Paul Riddle, and he helped a lot. At the beginning of the camp, the first week, we did the preparation about the English Popsong contest. In our class, we did an election about which song will we do for contest. At first, we did the song 'Moves like Jagger' but class 3 already did that, so we changed to a song named 'Baby' by Justin Bieber. At the first time of practicing, the 6th grade studets did not want to do the contest. However, as we get better and better, they started to work hard as others. As a result of trying hard, we won the 2nd place of contest, and we ate the snacks happily!



 
This is a picture of myself preparing for debate. Beside me, she is a 6th grader student, who is HYEMIN- AN. She was my best friend(?) during the whole camp. She was very kind. But sometimes frustrating. Different from this camp, all of the students in level 1 and 2 did a KMLA type of debate, which was 4 versus 4 debate.
The topic was
" Is growing population a serious problem happening in Korea? " Me and my team did both prepared for Pro team and Con team.                                                                                      
                                                              It was fun!!
                                                             



This is myself in the picture, the scene listening to the classmate's speech. At that time, I did the speech too, and my topic was about relationship between Kim Jungeun and our, south Korea, my friend went to the final competition between class 1,2,3,4 which class four was my class. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the final two .ㅠㅠ. But I tried hard that time!

  Like this time, I did the kendo, too. However, we did kendo with barefoot. We also memorized and had a test about '본국권법' It was kind of hard to memorize but it was fun. I am in the back row, with grey KMLA t shirt, second kid from the left. It was hot and hard, but I had a lot of fun!









This is my self preparing for debate. My position was opening statement. I remember the funny memories we had during the easy peasy(?) debate. 



   I actually had a lot of fun in the GLPS 20 camp, and that was the reason why I came to this camp again. This time, the camp was a littlebit short, but still, I had a lot of fun there. 
I don't want to go back home!!

A Movie review about 'Frozen' !

     
     As you know, I watched a movie FROZEN. My class, class 7, class 8, class 5, class 6                        watched it too. We used our first study period time, so it almost ended at 9'o clock so I went to eat snack directly. It was fun! From now , I will introduce about this movie, and I wish you watch it too!

    Firstly, this movie is made in Disney animation team.  This movie is now showing in the movie theater and in America, it opened at December 6, but in Korea, it was open on January. This movie's directors are Hans Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. Jennifer Lee did the screenplay, and Hans Chris Buck made the story. These directors were inspired of Norway's climates and landscapes and made this movie. Isn't it interesting?

    To begin, the main characters in this movie were king and queen, Anna and Elsa's parents, Anna , Elsa, prince Hans, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, and many of Kingdom People. Anna is Elsa's younger sister, and she is kind and bright. However, she sometimes has to be responsible with her dicision like marrying a man who just met that day. Elsa is Anna's big sister. She can use ice magic. Elsa can control the ice and snow by herself with the magic. However, as she grew up, she had to live only inside the room because she could not control the ice magic well. She had to wear gloves. Prince Hans is a prince from a neighbor kingdom and wants to marry Anna.
 
    This movie takes place in a peaceful kingdom named "Arendelle". This town was a warm and happy place, but it turned to a ice cold town after Elsa's unsupportable magic.

     To summarize this movie, it is about a two princess in Arendelle. In this story, Elsa was angry at Anna's irresponsible dicision to marry a prince who just met that day. From that moment, Arendelle turned to Ice cold with all day winter. However, her magic power became too strong that she cannot support it. So her younger sister, Anna and Kristoff saves her and Arendelle becomes back.

Introducing Me!

   


   Hello, everyone! My name is Cindy, Gunhee Bae. I an in class 7. I came from Seoul, Jamsil. (I live in same apartment with my classmate, Yerin Chung;;.) I go to Jamil elementary school, and I am going up to 6 grade. My apartment is very close to lotte world and it is very fun to live here!


   
   


   My favorite food is Ramen. It is delicious because it is spicy and tastes good.
I esecially like Ramen with kimchi! :)    I wish to eat ramen once here and I am desparate(?)!!!!










 
   I participated in Glps 20, the summer one. I wanted to find my picture in the photo gallary, but I think it is already erased. I came here again because to try in a harder class. Also, I wanted to ride ski with my new friends. Actually, I was in level 2, the class 4, but now, I am in  level 1, the class 7. Yeah!
